Harbin Will Establish China Biggest PDC Production Base

Founded in 2000 in Shenzhen, Haimingrun Industrial Co., Ltd is an exploiting high-tech enterprise engaged in the research and production of superhard materials, such as polycrystalline diamond compact (PDC). In 2008, Harbin Haimingrun was established in Niujia Industrial Park in the city of Wuchang. With production line expansion, at present Harbin Haimingrun has been the fourth largest tax payment enterprise in Wuchang. Compared with coastal areas, Harbin has obvious advantages of science and technology, land and labor cost. Now Haimingrun Company has planned to transfer their production to Harbin and build a very large scale superhard composite materials optoelectronics advanced processing technology production and research center. " In the next two or three years, Haimingrun in Niujia Industrial Park will be the biggest PDC production base in China", Wang Liwei said confidently. 

Lately, the application of superhard materials is much wider. Some companies begin to enter various fields, such as superhard cutting tools and tongers. However, Haimingrun still sticks to the field of superhard material used in oil and gas drilling and keeps innovation to elaborate their products. Presently, the capacity of Haimingrun producing various superhard abrasives has attained over 1.20 million pieces including PDC used in oil and gas drilling, special polycrystalline diamond and polycrystalline diamond sand-blast nozzle. Moreover, Haimingrun is the biggest domestic exporter of diamond products.
