Gear Grinder Reduces Dressing, Setup Time

According to iAbrasive report, Kapp Niles will exhibit its ZP 12 gear grinding machine, which can grind gears with diameters ranging to 1,250 mm with a fully dressed grinding wheel. The direct-drive tool spindle provides increased power, and the dual dressers shorten dressing time. The machine is also capable of grinding and measuring hob cutters and worms. Included software is designed to speed setup and optimize stock removal.

The company will also display its KX 260 Twin gear grinder and R&P Metrology's RPG PM 750/1250 portable gear inspection system.
